Connecticut’s Attorney General, William Tong, joined a coalition of 22 attorneys general in demanding more action from United Health Care to aid healthcare providers, pharmacies, and patients affected by a recent cyber attack on its subsidiary, Change Healthcare. The attack, carried out by a Russian cyber gang, impacted approximately 1.7 million people and a large number of healthcare providers in Connecticut alone. The multi-state coalition is calling for immediate and enhanced financial assistance to all affected parties.
