The Australian branch of speciality tea retailer T2 has reportedly suffered a data breach, impacting tens of thousands of its customers around the world. A hacker named ’emo’ claimed credit for the breach on a hacking forum, which includes more than 80,000 customer emails, names, phone numbers, dates of birth and genders along with encrypted passwords. The hacker also claims to have information on customers’ orders, physical addresses and payment methods. The data is currently circulating online, with some dated back to 2021.
