NHS patient data published on the Dark Web

Ransomware group INC Ransom has leaked part of a data haul linked to the UK’s NHS and plans to release 6 terabytes of data from another Scottish healthcare entity. The stolen data includes names, addresses, and medical histories which could be sold to interested parties. Cybercriminals are increasingly targeting the healthcare sector, using the information for further blackmailing opportunities. Incidents like these pose a major challenge to law enforcement agencies.
