NHS Dumfries and Galloway working with NCSC after 3TB data leak

The NHS Dumfries and Galloway in Scotland confirmed that ransomware group Inc Ransom published three terabytes of stolen patient data on the dark web. The health board is working with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) following the attack. The cybercriminals accessed millions of small data pieces sidelined across different directories, but did not access the primary records system for patients’ health information.
