KFF COVID-19 Vaccine Monitor November 2023: With COVID Concerns Lagging, Most People Have Not Gotten Latest Vaccine And Half Say They Are Not Taking Precautions This Holiday Season

A recent KFF survey reveals that decreasing concern about Covid-19 is a primary reason many adults have not received the latest vaccine. Approximately half of adults, including those previously vaccinated, have no plans to get the new vaccine, primarily due to lack of worry about the virus and scheduling issues. Vaccination rates are highest among those aged 65 and older and Democrats. For the upcoming holiday season, many adults have no plans to take special precautions against the virus.
