They anticipate new exploits on mobiles, wearables, and smart devices being used to form botnets, refine supply chain attack methods, and use AI for more effective spear-phishing. State-sponsored cyberattacks and hacktivism are also expected to rise due to increasing geopolitical tensions. Hack-for-hire groups and supply chain attacks are seen as growing threats. Kernel attacks and the misuse of Managed File Transfer systems are other areas of concern.
