Cedar, a healthtech company, has announced it will use Google Cloud’s generative AI tools to help consumers understand and handle their healthcare bills. The AI will be used in areas like customer service, to automate answers to frequently asked questions. Cedar’s planned launch for these tools is in early 2022. The company’s president, Seth Cohen, stated the move is to make it easier for individuals to pay for healthcare, rather than just facilitate payment.
