Google has filed a lawsuit against anonymous individuals who it claims are advertising bogus “downloads” of its AI chatbot Bard to install malware on victims’ computers. The scammers are said to misuse Google’s trademarks to entice users. The malware allegedly allows the defendants to steal social media login details. Google is seeking a court order to block the scheme and also monetary damages.
