Yamaha Motor Philippines, a subsidiary of Yamaha, confirmed they fell victim to a ransomware attack in October with partial leakage of the employees’ personal information. The company reported only one server was affected, and no other subsidiaries were impacted. A hacking group, INC Ransom claimed responsibility for the attack and leaked alleged stolen data. Investigations are ongoing.
