The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) is launching a Virtual Care Accreditation Pilot program to improve quality of healthcare delivered via telehealth or digital platforms. Eighteen organisations have been selected from over 100 applicants for the pilot and will provide input for the program’s development. The program initially focuses on primary and urgent care, expanding to other areas in the future. This is aimed at standardising and assessing the quality of virtual care.

Blue Yonder, a supply chain software provider, experienced a ransomware attack which disrupted its services, affecting clients such as Starbucks and UK grocery chain Sainsbury.
