CDC releases 77,000 additional doses of RSV shot for infants amid shortage

The CDC will distribute 77,000 additional doses of Beyfortus, a respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) drug from Sanofi and AstraZeneca, to deal with shortages and unprecedented demand that has left pediatricians and hospitals struggling to stock the immunization. The doses will be distributed to physicians, hospitals, and through the Vaccines for Children Program.
