VMware launches developer, data and security services for sovereign clouds

VMware has unveiled technology partnerships and products aiming to accelerate secure, sovereign cloud innovation. The firm’s Sovereign Cloud network currently involves over 50 providers across 33 countries. New offerings include the ability for customers to bring their own keys (BYOK) and key management systems (BYO-KMS) to their data, bolstering control and security. The company is also expanding support for developer-ready sovereign clouds to provide unified experiences across various cloud environments with enhanced compliance, data residency and security.
