Android users are being warned to check for a malware known as Xamalicious, which infected devices through the Google Play Store. Google has removed the malicious applications, but they might still be functioning on infected tools. The malware entered devices through 25 different apps, went unnoticed by exploiting the Xamarin framework, and performed malicious actions, including ad fraud, without needing user interaction.
