Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust experienced a cyber attack which caused a major incident, leading to numerous appointments being axed and forcing staff to manually handle processes. The trust said it is managing recovery and the incident status has been pushed down to a “business continuity incident”, however, some services will continue to be impacted.
