A new cyber criminal group named Desert Dexter has been using Facebook and Telegram to deploy a custom variant of AsyncRAT trojan against countries in the Middle East and North Africa since September. The group has already compromised almost 900 victims, mostly from the oil, IT, construction and agriculture sectors in Libya, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, Tunisia and UAE.
