Why Palo Alto Is Eyeing Data Defense Firm Dig for $300-$400M

Palo Alto Networks is reportedly in advanced talks to acquire Dig Security, a startup backed by Samsung and Google veteran, for between $300-400m. Dig, established in 2021, specialises in cloud data security posture management, has grown significantly and has strong leadership. Its acquisition by Palo Alto follows nine months after Palo Alto’s purchase of Israeli application security startup, Cider Security, for $198.3m.
