Why Is Finding Covid Shots for Young Children Still So Hard?

Parents in the US are facing difficulties obtaining Covid-19 vaccines for their children due to a lack of accurate information, insurance issues and logistics. Over a month after the CDC recommended Covid shots for everyone aged six months and older, the pediatric versions are hard to find. Some parents can find the vaccine, but not providers who will administer it to children. Healthcare providers are having to pay up front for vaccine doses and insurance-related complications have further complicated the issue.
