Comcast Cable Communications LLC (Comcast) reports a data breach impacting 237,000 individuals tied to third-party service provider Financial Business and Consumer Solutions, Inc. (FBCS). The breach occurred on February 14, 2024, with FBCS admitting in July that customer data had been compromised. Sensitive information extracted includes names, addresses, social security numbers, and Comcast account numbers, posing significant identity theft and fraud risks. Comcast is now offering free 12-month identity theft protection to affected customers.
