West Virginia hospital replaces computers after Petya cyberattack

Princeton Community Hospital in West Virginia is working to replace its computer hard drives after being hit with the NotPetya/Petya malware. The hospital is unable to access data from old devices on the network and has placed new computers in strategic locations to provide basic patient information. The hospital anticipates replacing its entire network and all hard drives on all devices. Despite the disruptions, it is still providing all services. The virus is a wiper virus bent on destruction and does not have restoration capabilities.
