York, Pa.-based WellSpan Health has promoted Ashley Zinn to senior vice president and chief people officer.
Ms. Zinn most recently served as WellSpan’s vice president of human resources, where she drove enterprise HR strategy and led workforce planning and talent initiatives, according to an Oct. 7 health system news release. She joined the organization in 2016 and brings more than 15 years of healthcare experience.
In her new role, Ms. Zinn will oversee the system’s human capital strategy, including talent acquisition, workforce planning, culture, belonging, and compensation and benefits. She will also lead policies and programs related to team member relations, health services, education, training, engagement, and leadership development.
She succeeds Aaron Gillingham, who served as chief people officer from September 2023 to May 2025, according to his LinkedIn profile.
WellSpan employs more than 23,000 people and operates more than 250 patient care locations, including nine hospitals.
