Week in review: Veeam Backup & Replication RCE fixed, free file converter sites deliver malware

Veeam has released fixes for a critical remote code execution vulnerability in its Backup & Replication solution. The FBI has issued warnings about malware being delivered through free file converter sites and tools. Threat actors and cybercrime groups have been exploiting a zero-day Windows vulnerability for the last eight years. A new Windows remote access Trojan, StilachiRAT, poses a serious threat. Vulnerabilities have also been found and exploited in NAKIVO Backup & Replication.
