Week in review: AWS S3 data encrypted without ransomware, data of 15k Fortinet firewalls leaked

Cybersecurity news highlight recent ransomware attacks by Codefinger on AWS S3 data. Vulnerabilities in SimpleHelp and Rsync were fixed to deter remote attacks, whilst the configuration files of 15,000 Fortinet firewalls were leaked. AI and ML are seen as both the main threat and main defence in ID-based attacks, while a Microsoft Hyper-V flaw was actively being exploited. In cybersecurity training, CEPOL data of 97,000 participants was breached and cybersecurity complexity grows, according to a WEF report.
