NHS software provider Advanced Computer Software Group has been provisionally fined £6m by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) over a 2022 data breach affecting over 80,000 people. The breach, which included medical records and sensitive personal information, disrupted health services and increased strain on the sector.
