According to ISC2, the world’s largest association of cyber professionals, the global cyber security workforce in 2022 stood at roughly 4.7 million people. However, there’s still a significant shortfall, with 3.4 million cyber roles remaining unfilled. This shortage is more noticeable in rapidly digitising countries like India, but is present in the US too, where just 69% of cyber roles are filled.
