Progress Software has issued emergency patches for its WS_FTP Server platform, owing to eight serious vulnerabilities that allow unauthenticated attackers to remotely execute commands through a 10/10 severity bug. It comes after a previous vulnerability affected tens of millions of global users. Despite the decreased confidence, the company reported that the previous breach hadn’t significantly impacted its finances.
