A survey by Venrock’s Healthcare Prognosis found that while artificial intelligence (AI) is slowly finding its place in healthcare, blockchain is struggling to make an impact. 53% of respondents are still waiting for AI to make a difference, while 75% are struggling to find a role for blockchain in healthcare. However, 78% of respondents believe that new health IT companies will emerge in the next two years, although concerns about talent shortages remain. Additionally, 35% of respondents prioritize diversifying the workforce.
