Veeam Software has released Cirrus by Veeam, a Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS) offering for Microsoft 365 and Azure customers. The tool simplifies the management and administration of backup operations. Veeam plans to launch an enhanced version of the BaaS offering in Q1 2024, through their own online store, the Azure marketplace, and service providers. Cirrus was initially developed by CT4, and it utilises Veeam’s data backup and ransomware recovery platform.
