In an operation to reduce motoring offences, police officers and driving agencies pulled over and checked vehicles in the Black Country at a quiet industrial estate. Sub-standard vehicles were seized and a taxi was temporarily suspended from use. An anonymous driver expressed frustration at the operation, stating: “It’s a joke.”
