Steam users are being cautioned after a game demo was found to be spreading malware. A demo installer for “Sniper: Phantom’s Resolution” – set to release in late 2021 – had been infecting PCs with malware. Steam has since delisted the game. Users are warned to practise cyber hygiene and to avoid downloading suspicious games and software to keep their data safe.
