Position Summary: We are seeking a creative and highly skilled Data Scientist at HEAL Security, you will report to the Engineering Lead on the Platform team. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams to make sure teams are asking the right questions and then finding those answers. This role is crucial to architecting and building our data infrastructure so that we can efficiently scale the product.

Responsibilities

  • You’ll design and analyze experiments to measure the impact of new product features.
  • You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to make decisions on what effective communication looks like under different use cases.
  • You’ll add new metrics and aggregations to our data warehouse to make new classes of questions answerable.
  • You’ll solve users’ communication problems through data-intelligent products via Machine Learning models.
  • 3+ years of experience in applying data science techniques to drive technical product development and decision-making.
  • Strong technical background in computer science, statistics, math, information science, or another quantitative field.
  • Strong ability to manage stakeholders, communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences, and craft compelling stories.

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (not essential
  • Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
  • 3 years of full-time industry experience in complex data analysis, data wrangling, and building product metrics for consumer-facing products.
  • Deep understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance optimization techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex data problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent autonomous problem-solving ability.
