Position Summary:

Seeking a Business Analyst with experience in JIRA to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, documenting product features and functions, and assisting with project management. The candidate will work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to document and manage software projects well.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements using JIRA and other tools as needed
  • Document product features and functions in a clear and concise manner
  • Work with project managers to develop project plans and schedules
  • Ensure that project timelines are met and that deliverables are completed on time and within budget
  • Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that software projects meet business requirements
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely and effective manner
  • Continuously improve the software development process by identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions
  • Participate in the development of user acceptance testing plans and scenarios
  • Assist with user acceptance testing as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a software development environment
  • JIRA and other project management tools, excel etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum, is a plus
