Approximately 15 million veterans may have been affected by the cyberattack on Change Healthcare, according to the US Department of Veterans Affairs. Despite the attack, most providers are continuing to offer care and veterans are being informed about the situation and advised on available resources to protect themselves against fraud, including offered free identity theft and credit monitoring for two years by Change Healthcare.
