Young leaders in health care need to be empowered and provided with resources to greatly influence health policies and interventions. During the pandemic, youths showed their impact when resourced. For instance, students in South Africa and Canada made significant contributions to reducing burdens and providing solutions. Therefore, governments and institutions must accord greater recognition to these young leaders, facilitate their growth, and prepare infrastructures to tap into their potential for future global health challenges.
