Cybersecurity experts have warned that the BlueKeep vulnerability, which affects Windows 7, Windows XP, Server 2003, and Server 2008, could become an entry point for worm attacks. Microsoft has stated that nearly one million computers connected to the internet are at risk and urged customers to update immediately. Healthcare institutions are particularly vulnerable to cyberattacks due to the complexity of their infrastructure and the rich patient data they possess. Patching is essential but can be difficult for devices based on outdated Windows versions that cannot be easily updated.
