NHS England has confirmed a data breach following a ransomware attack on Synnovis, a medical diagnostics service used by many London hospitals. NHS said it would take time to know the full extent of the breach and how it affects patients. A cyber crime group reportedly published stolen data online while threatening to release more if not paid. Synnovis confirmed the hackers have yet to publish the main database of patient test requests and results.
