UK wasting ‘tens of billions’ on crumbling infrastructure and badly run projects | Public services policy

Britain is wasting billions of pounds on poorly run projects and outdated infrastructure, according to the head of the National Audit Office (NAO), Gareth Davies. He will argue that smarter maintenance, replacing outdated IT systems and better project management, especially of large projects like HS2 and the new hospital programme, could save considerable sums.
