Cybersecurity firm Deep Instinct reports cyber attacker UAC-0099 continues to target Ukrainian workers at organizations outside of Ukraine. UAC-0099 has been linked with usage of a major flaw in the WinRAR software to carry out attacks using LONEPAGE, a malware program. The attacks, which mostly target computers in Ukraine, use three different infection methods, including self-extracting archives and bobby-trapped ZIP files.
