UA Little Rock receives $5 million to advance cybersecurity education

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UA Little Rock) has received a $5 million grant from the Department of Energy Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response. The funding is to improve education and workforce development in cybersecurity for the energy sector, create a startup program for innovation, and address cyber threats to industrial control systems. The Consortium for Cyber Innovation will offer a related certification program, integrating into other courses under the consortium.
