One of the attacks involved ransomware group, Inc Ransom, claiming to have stolen patient records and other data from Alder Hey. Statistical data and other information was published online, dated from 2018 to 2024. Meanwhile, Wirral hospital disconnected its systems, following a breach, causing disruptions to some planned services.
