President Trump has rescinded an executive order from the Biden administration which had been aimed at exploring new healthcare payment models to lower prescription costs for Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries. The order, seen as “unpopular, inflationary, illegal, and radical practices” by Trump, proposed methods to lower costs and incentivise manufacturers to expedite clinical trials.
