Trump: Iowa should pass measure removing protections for transgender people 'as fast as possible'

President Trump is encouraging Iowa to expedite legislation set to remove protections for transgender individuals. The proposed bill, already passed through the state Senate and House, will follow Trump’s executive order asserting the existence of only two genders. While Governor Kim Reynolds hasn’t disclosed her decision, she has previously supported measures reducing transgender inclusion initiatives.
