The hospital’s electronic health platform and ambulance traffic were restored, and elective surgeries and procedures resumed on 17 November, according to the company hired by the hospital’s insurer to handle communications. It is unclear what caused the attack, but employees have hinted that it may have involved ransomware. No information about the nature of any data breach has been released.
