More than two-thirds of organisations in Australia expect the level of cyber attacks to either remain steady or to rise over the next year, according to ISACA. Meanwhile, only 36% of these businesses have complete confidence in their ability to detect and respond to cyber threats, while 65% say they are understaffed in their cyber defence teams. With the Government introducing cyber shield defensive plans, companies are advised to have active preventative strategies, frequently updated responses, and robust recovery plans.
