Threat Actors Using $10 Infostealer Malware To Breach Critical US Security

US military, defense contractor, and federal agency systems have been compromised by cheap $10 infostealer malware kits, highlighting vulnerabilities in national security infrastructure. Reports from Hudson Rock’s cybercrime intelligence data state that over 30,000 devices across organizations such as Lockheed Martin, Boeing, and the US Navy have leaked credentials. Infostealers work by exploiting human error rather than advanced technical exploits, with employees inadvertently downloading malware.
