FortiGuard Labs has discovered a high-severity phishing campaign, active since April 2025, deploying Horabot malware to target Spanish-speaking users in Latin America. The malware uses HTML files embedded in phishing emails to steal sensitive data, like email credentials and banking information. Via emails pretending to be real invoices, it targets users in countries like Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Chile, and Argentina.
