CyberArmor has identified a complex phishing campaign that programs fraudulent pages in Vercel, a commonly used frontend hosting platform, and lures victims into downloading a harmful LogMeIn variant through deceptive emails. The fraudulent pages resemble trusted platforms, causing over 1,271 unsuspecting users to download a malicious executable posing as a genuine file. This compromises the victim’s control over their machine. CyberArmor advises increased vigilance, user awareness, and stricter policy enforcement.
