Threat Actor Claims Fortinet Data Breach via Third-Party Service

A cyber actor recently claimed to have gained unauthorised access to a third-party cloud-based file-sharing service used by cybersecurity firm Fortinet. The limited data breach reportedly affected a small number of Fortinet’s customers in the Asia-Pacific region. The firm said there are currently no indications of any resulting malicious activity, and its operations remain unaffected. The alleged hacker claimed to have leaked 440 GB of data from Fortinet’s Azure SharePoint.
