Thousands of London NHS hospital appointments and procedures postponed after cyber attack

A cyber attack on June 3, targeting pathology services provider Synnovis, led to over 6,000 appointments and procedures being postponed at major London hospitals. Among pieces of data published online by Russian cyber gang Qilin were patient names, dates of birth, and descriptions of blood tests. While services are near normal levels, NHS England confirmed it could take weeks to determine those impacted. A helpline has been established to support those affected.
