Thousands of hospital appointments and procedures postponed after cyber attack

In the aftermath of the June 3rd cyberattack, the NHS has had to postpone nearly 5,000 outpatient appointments and over 1,000 procedures. Despite this, officials claim most services are running at “near-normal” levels with emergency services remaining operational. Almost 400GB of stolen patient data has been published online, but no complete database has been revealed yet. Following these events, the NHS has requested O-type blood donors to help replenish supplies.
