Thousands of hospital appointments and procedures postponed after cyber attack

The NHS was targeted in a ransomware attack by cyber criminals on June 3, leading to thousands of outpatient appointments and elective procedures being postponed. Most services are said to be near normal now, however, pathology services are operating at 54% capacity. While no full database was published, stolen data was leaked online. Now, the NHS urges people with type O blood to donate to help hospitals hit by the cyber attack.
